• Improved Front Axle Performance On inclines the Multidrive system imposes downward pressure from the positive forward push from the trailer acting through the forward pivot point on to the front steered axle facilitating better front wheel ground contact and safer negotiation of grades and, if driven, increasing the traction at critical stages.   If the trailer is undriven the opposite forces lift the steering axle reducing the steering effort.
